Partage Vietnam’s primary aim is to help the children of Vietnam to grow with dignity. Through a series of programs involving scholarships for disadvantaged children and training communities and schools alike to improve their education and protect them from mistreatments, we believe that we can help them develop their potential. The organization additionally provides health, dental care and emergency support.

ACTIVITIES

In many years of supporting children in difficult circumstances, PVN has not only encouraged children to go to school, but also provided and implemented numerous training activities, job orientation sessions and extra activities for all children in PVN’s program thanks to our sponsors.

An educational game for both children and adults

On special children-related days or events in Vietnam, such as International Children’s day, the Mid Autumn Festival, or the Tet Holiday, we always organize fun activities. They would include fashion shows from recycled materials and plays where one can disguise himself or herself as a character from folktales of old. Aside from contests, there are also games and quizzes designed to educate one on living values, love and responsibilities. Finally, PVN also carries out “life skill” training workshops on a variety of themes, such as Discovering Yourself, Communication Skills, Children’s Rights, Financial Management and so forth.

Aside from children and potential educators, we also conduct discussion and training courses for parents to provide the necessary support that their children need to properly accompany them in their life’s journey.

We are currently cooperating and supporting other Local NGOs such as Anh Duong Center in Hau Giang Province in community development.

PVN is currently aiming to expand itself, to diversify its activities and seek more funding resources for children’s activities. We have been participating since 2013 in the Social Work Education Project in Vietnam (SWEP) funded by the Atlantic Philanthropy, which, along with the Central Women Training School and SDRC, and other Companies… conducted the following projects :

  1. The “Raising awareness” project, which aimed to help children in difficult situations to overcome the barriers in life and to help them plan a bright future by the means of proper education. The project took place in Go Vap district, ward 5 in HCM city.
  2. The “Financial management” project, for 100 children in Hoc Mon, Go Vap, and Dist 2, along with the Grant Thornton Financial Company. They also support auditing for Partage.
  3. The Drawing Contest on the theme of “Children’s Rights” from the Thien Long Group.
  4. Inkind support from the Standard Chartered Bank.
